Rocky was a young male, brownish colored tiger cat, which I saw first a few months ago. He was friendly with the resident cats in our garden and appeared a few times a week for food. He did not try to require the leader role for the area.
Despite him being friendly we never managed to catch him for neuterisation. We haven't seen him for a while. Last week we caught him with salmon. He looked a bit thin and moved not very fast. His tummy looked a bit to big.
An hour after we had left him there the vet called and told us that he had Feline infectious peritonitis (FIP). There would not be a chance that he would survive that. The vet suggested while he had Rocky sedated anyway to put him asleep. Rocky reached the age of approximately one year. R.I.P.
